Stamford is located at the intersection of New York State routes 10 and 23 in northern Delaware County.
We are on the northern edge of the Catskill Mountains and are overlooked by beautiful 3214 ft Mt Utsayantha.

For Stamford, New York (Delaware County)

A lovely water park is located between the Catskill Trail System (former railroad bed) and Prospect Street.

Many people come to Stamford just to hike or ride the trail. Because it is a former railroad bed it has a very gradual grade. It runs beside the unnamed water park.

At the eastern end of the park nearer to Crestline Drive is the Beaver Lodge.

The walks/ramps are all ADA handicap accessible.

The scene is refreshing and relaxing from either direction.

The residents do not seem to mind the human visitors. Could be the bread crumbs, Huh?

The former Coldspring Hotel swimming (wading) pool is still in existence but only used by the fish and the ducks.

The Coldspring is now an apartment building.
